Privacy Policy

Napkn is an instant quote tool for siding and roofing contractors, operated by STRLGHT. STRLGHT is the controller of contractor account data and of beta waitlist data. For homeowner details submitted through a contractor's quote tool, the contractor is the controller and STRLGHT processes that data on their behalf.

What we collect

Contractor accounts: name, work email, company name, website, logo, brand settings, pricing configuration, and notification preferences.

Beta waitlist: name, work email, company name, website, the trade you want to quote, anything you write in the notes field, and a one-way hashed form of your IP address used only to limit spam submissions.

Homeowner quote requests: the answers given in the quote quiz (such as home size, stories, material choice) plus the name, email, phone, and ZIP code entered on the contact step.

Usage and traffic: pages viewed, quote sessions started and completed, and campaign tracking parameters (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign and similar) where present. Google Analytics may be used in aggregate.

Cookies and similar technologies

We use strictly necessary storage to keep you signed in and to remember interface preferences such as light or dark mode. Analytics may set cookies to measure aggregate usage. The embedded quote tool does not sell or share data with advertising networks.

How we use it

To operate the quote tool, calculate estimates, deliver leads to the contractor, send service and account emails, protect the service from abuse, and improve the product. Beta waitlist details are also used by STRLGHT to contact you about beta access and related STRLGHT services. You can opt out of non-essential email at any time using the unsubscribe link in any message.

Who we share it with

Service providers that make the product work, including hosting, database, and email delivery, under confidentiality obligations. Homeowner submissions are shared with the contractor whose tool was used. We do not sell personal information.

Retention and deletion

Account and lead data is retained while the workspace is active and for a reasonable period afterwards for legal and accounting purposes. You can request access, correction, or deletion of your data at any time by emailing hello@strlght.com, and we will respond within a reasonable time.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit, access is restricted per workspace, and administrative views mask homeowner contact details by default so support work does not expose them.

Accessibility statement

We want Napkn to work for everyone. We aim to meet WCAG 2.1 AA: keyboard-operable controls, visible focus, sufficient colour contrast in both light and dark mode, and labelled form fields and quiz answers. Accessibility work is ongoing. If you hit a barrier, email hello@strlght.com and we will fix it and offer another way to get what you needed.
